European book sector calls for payment flexibility under Late Payment Regulation

The European book sector calls for further flexibility in the Late Payment Regulation, currently under discussion in the European Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO).

The European and International Booksellers Federation (EIBF), the Federation of European Publishers (FEP) and their German member, Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (German Publishers and Booksellers Association) jointly authored a 1-pager highlighting the European book sector’s position on the Late Payment Regulation, along with their main issues with the current proposal and the main asks ahead of the upcoming vote in the European Parliament’s IMCO Committee.
